My Munich colleague Isabella Berr and I are exhibiting in HUGLFING (Irritation in supposed certainty) very close to Murnau in the beautiful "Blue Land":
In our photographs, we both deal with themes of silence, the fleeting moment, and play with inklings, hints and blurriness, among others. Our visual languages are very similar in this respect, as are our worlds of ideas, we both have a connection to Japan and at the same time there are of course differences in the implementation of our themes. In this way, a photographic interspace, a poetic exchange, an invitation to the viewer to enter a world behind the world, was created in the process of photographing and engaging with the situation.
